Guy has spent the past 25 years perfecting his high-end residential building skills, both as a sole proprietor and as a member of the Charter Residential Team. Guy has 10 years of experience as a small business owner and has spent the past 15 years advancing his career at Charter from Carpenter to Superintendent. In addition to his experience working on residences, Guy has worked on light commercial projects and tenant improvement work.
Guy’s extensive on –the-job training has given him a rounded knowledge of the planning, design and construction process. His communication skills and easy demeanor facilitate a comfortable and professional working relationship with owners, architects and neighbors around a project.

Selected Projects
- Sheppard Lake House – Supervised the construction of 4,200 SF contemporary home on the Western shore of Lake Washington. Home featured wood and structural steel design on top of a foundation poured over sixty-seven pipe piles. Incorporated three floors of the highest-level finishes with a wrap around deck to absorb the panoramic views.
- Graham Residence – Supervised the construction of an 8,600 SF contemporary residence on Mercer Island that featured exposed, board-formed concrete, exposed steel, cedar and ipe – along with glass and aluminum features and a cantilevered third floor. A two-level water feature that crosses the property and runs the length of the house was incorporated into design.
- 1202 Residence – Supervised construction of a 9,500 SF lakefront home in Madrona that features a soaring “butterfly” roof supported by Douglas Fir timber framing. The site is located on a steep slope and access was limited to a narrow driveway, requiring careful planning and monitoring of equipment and material delivery.
- Tsunami Residence – Supervised construction of a 9,500 SF lakefront home in Medina that features Douglas Fir timber framing supporting a soaring roofline overlooking Lake Washington. Created a groundwater drainage plan on a tight site that required close coordination of deliveries and material staging.
