With 16 years of engineering experience for residential and commercial projects, Joe Blanda is proficient at identifying suitable and cost effective bids and clarifying architectural and engineering design deficiencies for field crews.  Having planned and designed residential, commercial and public sector projects, Joe is familiar with the coordination required of such projects and has the skills to communicate effectively with owners.

Joe has managed employee workloads, supervised consultants, trained fellow engineers on interpreting drawings and worked extensively with clients.  His expertise provides significant value to all projects he is involved in.

• Designed and procured approval and permits for multiple single and multi-family residential as well as commercial land development projects

Selected Projects 

• Naval Training Center Housing—Responsible for all aspects of deign for this 300-unit, multi-family housing project.  The extremely flat site presented challenges for sewer and storm drain design.

• Black Mountain Ranch—Lead designer for two phases of this 1100-unit single family, upscale housing development.  Circular building pads were constructed to allow owners to orient their homes to their view preference.  The project included and 18-hole championship golf course, a clubhouse with gym and a swimming pool.
